The equation is simple, good website equals good leads. You may feel overwhelmed to consider designing a web page that’s built for leads, not to mention how time consuming it can be. What you need to know is what works and why it works, instead of incorporating every single element of web design and development without knowing fully how much of it will actually come in useful.

Add a contact number. While this may seem intuitive, did you know many websites have only an email address? A contact number can increase credibility and trust on your offer. While all your customers may not necessarily use the number, the fact it is there means you have shown a level of genuineness and authenticity about your company.

To increase viable leads on your website it is paramount to having access to the actual lead generation form. The less information you request for the more likely people will fill in your form. Also, not everyone wants to give out their personal information so it is always more appropriate you ask for less.

Photos and testimonials which appear on websites provide great credibility. While testimonials are powerful on their own, you can take it a step further by adding an audio or video. At the same time, you can also add images of real people alongside testimonials.

Use your videos to speak directly to your followers. E-commerce websites benefit greatly through the use of personalized videos. Videos that convert will have it speak directly to the user, and not at them. This is not about preaching but rather sharing your awesome product or service with other people.

While trust seals incorporated on websites increase the levels of trustworthiness people may feel about your company, do not add them as eye candy. Trust seals should have a guarantee if the consumer is to ever have faith in it.

Describe your offer using powerful words. Use strong compellers like get, feel, have as opposed to imaginary feelings. You want people to understand and yearn for the benefits, not just imagine what it would be like.

Avoid general templates for your website. Cookie cutter templates will not help with quality lead generation. Make the purpose of your page clear so your web design company can customize it to generate leads and not just to look pretty with bells and whistles.
