Your goal should be grounded in reality. Use your research data to understand what and how much can be achieved. Agree upon goals with your team so everyone is on the same page.

Be time bound. Dates should be assigned to each step of the plan. This cannot be executed haphazardly. You need a start date, and a finish date.

Who is your audience? This is the most critical part of the plan. Your audience is not just numbers or analytic. It is also based on their needs. Understanding your audience creates direction.
