If you have your own dental practice you would know nothing gets it moving than those huddled over staff meetings and gatherings. The more often your team gets together the more open the line of communication is, with the staff being kept up to date with new practices and so on. In this day and age of social media, it is imperative you get your staff involved and active in existing and new campaigns. If you have a small staff of 20 or a bigger staff of 100, it is still unique people that make up your team. Remember, each person has something new to bring to your campaign.

Get your staff to share content that they find engaging and inspirational. It can be multimedia or simple images. You can post personal stories, stories with some humour or a real tearjerker. The more engaged and personalized your staff seems with patients, the more likely patients and prospective visitors will respond. People like nothing more than the feeling of interacting one on one. It makes them feel valued and appreciated. You can snap behind the scenes photos and caption it with humourous or at times serious words.

Let your staff showcase their traditions and culture. No team will have people that share the exact same beliefs, culture and tradition. In this diverse society, there are bound to be a few that share something completely different. This is what sets you apart, so get your staff to share their holiday traditions, religious culture and beliefs with the community. Your patients and followers will certainly feel compelled to respond in a positive way.

Why not put out campaigns with a significant meaning. For example, the breast cancer awareness campaign, anti-bullying campaign and pride month campaign. You can even simplify it to brush your teeth for a good 2 minutes campaign! Campaigns generally draw attention, helping to enhance brand image, credibility and reputation.  It can be a campaign that is close to your heart or something that everyone is passionate about. Find out what pulls at the heart strings of your staff and make it happen. It is very likely it will pull at the heart strings of your followers. Remember, people love a story with a personalized touch. It creates intimacy and a sense of solidarity!
Create opportunities for patients to engage in some form of contests or competition. This is a sure way to get your followers to jump right into the fray. Nothing is more exciting than a contest with a prize to be won at the end of it. Get your patients to snap selfies, post images, love poems, short narratives and the list goes on. Get creative with your team and make the first move. You post something out of the box and get your patients to follow suit. You will soon find your followers more than enthusiastic to post just as extraordinary, out of the box responses!
